About 53.8 percent of the 2,507 degrees and certificates handed out by the Bellevue College in 2016-17 were to students in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Bellevue conferred 1349 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 1349 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 175 associate's degrees in Business/Commerce, General and 81 certificates in Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration.

The college enrolled 13,506 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
