About 23.4 percent of the 2,623 degrees and certificates handed out by the Edmonds Community College in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Lynnwood conferred 312 certificates and 303 associate's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 468 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 244 certificates in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician and 199 associate's degrees in Business/Commerce, General.

The college enrolled 8,348 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
