About 42.6 percent of the 1,351 degrees and certificates handed out by the Clover Park Technical College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Lakewood conferred 414 certificates and 161 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide. Data shows the school gave out 117 certificates in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide, followed by 107 certificates in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and 82 certificates in Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist.

The college enrolled 3,978 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
