54 percent of applicants to DigiPen Institute of Technology were admitted for fall 2017


At DigiPen Institute of Technology, 79 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 76 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Redmond enrolled 1,102 students in fall 2017, including 1,028 in undergraduate and 74 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

47 percent of undergraduates are residents of Washington, and 47 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (45 percent) and Asian (6 percent).

The school admitted 54 percent of the 750 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 56 percent enrolled.
