Graduates earn 2,552 degrees, certificates from Seattle University


About 28.5 percent of the 2,552 degrees and certificates handed out by Seattle University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Seattle conferred 317 bachelor's degrees and 284 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in law. Data shows the school gave out 192 doctor's degrees in law, followed by 186 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 150 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The university enrolled 7,278 students for 2017-18, including 4,560 in undergraduate programs and 2,718 in graduate programs.
