
About 15.7 percent of the 3,007 degrees and certificates handed out by Eastern Washington University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Cheney conferred 420 bachelor's degrees and 51 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 176 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 138 bachelor's degrees in general psychology and 138 bachelor's degrees in general biology/biological sciences.
The university enrolled 12,607 students for 2017-18, including 11,473 in undergraduate programs and 1,134 in graduate programs.
