Census Bureau reports Spokane population was 212,982 in 2017


Spokane, Washington had a population of 212,982 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Washington Business Daily.

The median age was 36, with 51.3 percent of the total population being female and 48.7 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 7,169,967.

An agency of the U.S. Federal Statistical System, the Census Bureau is responsible for compiling statistical facts about the American people, places and economy.
