66 percent of applicants to Gonzaga University were admitted for fall 2018


At Gonzaga University, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Spokane enrolled 7,563 students in fall 2018, including 5,304 in undergraduate and 2,259 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

47 percent of undergraduates are residents of Washington, and 52 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (11 percent).

The school admitted 66 percent of the 8,402 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
