Census Bureau: More women than men in Burlington in 2017


Of the 8,590 people living in Burlington in 2017, 52.6 percent (4,517) were women and 47.4 percent (4,073) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Washington Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 2,568-to-2,552. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 806 females and 583 males.
